Lakeside Union School District

Welcome

Students at any of the nine Lakeside Union schools are taught in safe physical and socio-emotional environments. We want parents who entrust us with their child to know that we care deeply not only about their wellbeing, but also preparing them to be equipped for their future, whatever education or career path they may follow. If you’re already part of the LUSD family, you know just how amazing our schools are. If you’re new to us, please explore our site and contact us to enroll today!

Affordable Connectivity Program

The Affordable Connectivity Program provides qualifying low-income households a subsidy of up to $30 per month on broadband service, directly from their Internet service provider. Families with children participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or who attend Community Eligibility Program (CEP) schools under NSLP qualify for the ACP benefit. Over 30 Internet service providers, including Cox and AT&T agreed to cap their charge at $30 per month, which makes the service free to the qualifying households.  More information can be found below!

The California Department of Education also announced the Get Connected! Initiative. You may visit their website to view the announcement and access a toolkit and other resources developed to promote ACP awareness: https://www.cde.ca.gov/nr/el/le/yr22ltr0809.asp
