Five Day In-Person Project Based Learning Program
Project based learning is an instructional approach designed to give students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills through engaging projects set around challenges and problems they may face in the real world.
Schooling Done Differently:
- Move away from a single-path, factory model of education
- Towards a personalized education that allows students to progress at their own pace with choice, ownership, and flexibility in the process
- Education for the whole child
- Classes will be multi-grade to allow students to work with students of different levels and abilities
Through Project Based Learning, Students Will:
- Learn to collaborate and work well with others
- Learn to be independent thinkers
- Learn to be in control of their own learning through inquiry, asking questions, and exploring their interest
- Solve real-world problems
- Be given a voice and choice in their learning
- Produce a project for a publication as a product to show their learning
