Welcome

The school and the community are a special place and I am honored to be part of it.  We are a neighborhood school and welcome families from all walks of life.  I am not only a proud Principal, I am a community member as well as a parent of the school.  I look forward to our time together and cannot wait to learn alongside everyone.  If you ever have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me.

Districtwide Announcements:

Shaping the Future of Lakeside Schools Together!

In Lakeside, we know our schools are more than buildings—they are the heartbeat of our community, where our students’ dreams take flight. As your Board of Trustees, we are dedicated to serving you and ensuring every family, student, and staff member has a seat at the table.

We’ve made great strides this year by focusing on:

  • Career Pathways: Expanding Technical Education in our middle schools to prepare students for the workforce.
  • Supportive Environments: Prioritizing social-emotional well-being and behavioral support to help everyone thrive in the classroom.
  • Academic Excellence: Staying committed to innovation and grade-level mastery for every child.

Now, we are looking ahead and need your guidance to help us set the right goals for the next chapter of our district. Your feedback ensures that our focus remains tailored to our students' unique needs.

How can you help? Please take a few minutes to complete our community survey. Your voice is the key to helping our students reach for the stars!

Lakeside Farms Fallout Shelter

One of the few nuclear fallout shelters in San Diego County is now better equipped to teach about the Cuban Missile Crisis than to survive a future missile crisis. The US Army Corps of Engineers constructed a fallout shelter underneath the Lakeside Farms Elementary School in Lakeside back in 1961.
