Mission

It is the mission of Lindo Park Elementary School to ensure high levels of learning for all students. Through mutual respect within the total community, our students will grow and learn in a positive atmosphere where staff, students, and parents together are enthusiastic about the teaching and learning process. We will work collaboratively to ensure students become productive, responsible citizens. Students will engage in dynamic, rigorous, relevant curriculum. Students will develop abilities, which enable them to contribute to society. Students will achieve their goals in a safe, nurturing, and respectful school environment.

Important Information:

Tech Ninjas are responsible for providing support to primary students who are having technology problems/issues with their devices in class. They will also ensure that students are following and respecting classroom expectations at all times.

Students will be on duty once a week until the end of the school year. Duty will be the first 20 minutes of their regular lunchtime. Then they will have the rest of lunch to eat and play. Furthermore, students were selected due to their great leadership at school and have set an excellent example for all students.

The Tech Ninja duties include:

Assist and mentor students during technology problems and monitor classroom to make sure students are being responsible.
Obey all school rules; set a good example for other children, be responsible, respectful and safe.
Become familiar with technological solutions on the I Pad.
Use “Falcon Tickets” to reward students who are being responsible, respectful and safe

The Playground Leaders Program is responsible for providing a safe, positive and happy environment for students who play on the primary playground. Students will monitor the different playground games and ensure that all playground rules are followed.

Students will be on duty once a week during the primary grade level recess and lunch until the end of the school year. They will be responsible for eating breakfast before school starts and lunch will be at their usual time. Furthermore, students were selected due to their great leadership at school and have set an excellent example for all students.

The Playground Leaders duties include:

Assist students during playground games and disputes.
Obey all school rules; set a good example for other children, be responsible, respectful and safe.
Makes sure all equipment is put away.
Always wear full playground leader uniform (Yellow Vest & Clipboard)
Use “Falcon Tickets” to reward students who are being responsible, respectful and safe.
