Lakeside Middle School is proud to be recognized as a Purple Star School (2026) through the California Purple Star School Designation Program.

- Welcome and personally connect with new military-connected students and families, helping them acclimate quickly and confidently.
- Provide strong academic support, including targeted assistance for state-identified student groups, so every learner can thrive.
- Offer social-emotional care, including access to counseling services and connections to community resources when needed.
- Build cultural understanding among staff, ensuring we recognize and respond thoughtfully to the unique experiences of military life.
