  • A Message from Mrs. Drammissi

WELCOME TO LINDO PARK! I am very happy to have the privilege of working with you and your children. I’d like to introduce myself to you and let you know my background. My husband and I have lived in Lakeside since 1991 and my two children attended Lakeside Union School Schools and El Capitan High School. I am a director on the Lakeside Chamber of Commerce and I love working on events such as the Western Days Parade and the Lakeside Rodeo. I believe that investing time and giving back to our community is tremendously important.

Educational Experience and Education: Before coming to Lindo Park in 2012, I was an Assistant Principal at Lakeside Middle School. Before coming to Lakeside Schools, I worked as a teacher, science curriculum coordinator, and instructional coach in the Lemon Grove School District. In addition, I had the opportunity to work in a federally-funded grant through Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, San Francisco's Exploratorium, and University of San Diego to increase STEM achievement in schools.  I have a Master's Degree in Reading and I am pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership in Science Education at San Diego State University.

My Passion: I feel that our job is to provide students with rich STEM and arts experiences through the skills of leadership, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. Students excel when they are connected to school and become aware of the vast world of opportunity waiting for them. At Lindo Park, we believe the best way for students to achieve success is for parents and schools to work together as a team. We have a fantastic parent education class called School Smarts that you will want to join. We also have amazing enrichment clubs for students such as Science, Dance-Choir, Spanish, Athletics and Robotics. Please feel free to stop by and say hello to find out about our programs. We are interested in collaborating with you to create positive pathways for your students!
