  • Student Enrollment for the 2019-20 School Year

    Enrollment for the 2019-20 school year will be online beginning March 1st.
    *** IF YOUR STUDENT IS A CURRENT LUSD 5th GRADER YOU DO NOT NEED TO PRE-REGISTER FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL ***

    All students must be registered through an online registration process using Illuminate Home Connect. Parents will be able to create a parent portal account and register your student(s) from any internet browser. Cell phones and tablets are not suggested when registering your student(s). If you do not have access to a computer, please visit the school you are registering for to use one of their computers that are dedicated to online registration. There are three different enrollment categories. Please review the descriptions of each category below to choose which one best describes your student's enrollment request.

     

    Category 1:
    Use this option if you DO NOT have any other students enrolled in our District and you are enrolling a NEW student(s).

    Category 2:
    Use this option if you are an EXISTING LUSD FAMILY with other students already enrolled in one of our schools and would like to register a NEW student. You will be logging in to your already existing portal account.

    Category 3:
    Use this option if the student(s) you are registering PREVIOUSLY ATTENDED ANY LUSD SCHOOL and is returning or if they attended our Transitional Kindergarten (TK), Early Admission Kindergarten (EAK), special education preschool, state-funded preschool, or tuition-based preschool (LEAPP) prior to the 18/19 school year.

    School of Choice or Inter District Transfer:
    If you have applied for a School of Choice or Inter District Transfer DO NOT begin any of the above online registration processes until you have received your decision letter. Our open enrollment window closes on April 15 and letters will be mailed home after that deadline with your next steps for registration.

    Residency Affidavits:
    If you are living in the residence of another person, that person must accompany the parent at the time of registration and present their proof of residency and current photo ID. Both parties must complete the affidavit stipulating the registering parent lives in the residence of another person. The parent must present their photo ID and then may register. 

    NOTICE: A registration determined to be secured by false, misleading, or deliberate omission of information to establish residency in the Lakeside Union School District will be considered null and void.
