The following materials should be brought each day:
-Paper (loose or in a notebook)
-Folder (to keep work, notes, and other materials)
Learning Upgrade - A program that incorporates animation, song, and dance to teach students math. Courses cover all grades K-8, including Algebra. "The secret to Upgrade courses: mix the latest in educational research, curriculum standards, pop music styles, video gaming, animation, assessment, and progress tracking." (Taken from their website)
Khan Academy - (Taken from their website) Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.
Reflex Math - An iPad app that uses games to promote fact fluency.
Mr. Dungan (Room 8) has Morning Tutoring on
Tuesdays-Fridays from 7:30 to 8:15.
Mr. Keehl (Room 9) has Afternoon Tutoring on
Tuesdays from 3:05 to 4:00.
