I have been a teacher going on 19 years.  I joined the wonderful family of Lakeside teachers, here at Lindo Park, nine years ago. I love coming to this wonderful job each day because it is challenging and highly rewarding. Watching the excitement in children when they learn something new and teaching children how to succeed in their lives through the use of self-control, taking responsibility and exhibiting positive behavior (self-efficacy and empowerment), is an awesome feeling. 

I was born in the garden state of New Jersey but have lived in California since I was two years old, so I call myself a California boy. We moved around a lot when I was young. I've lived in Los Angeles, Orange County (I graduated from Edison High School in Huntington Beach), San Jose and finally San Diego. I moved to San Diego when I was twenty years old and have been here ever since. I love San Diego!

I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.  I love weekend walks on the beach or bay (with a Starbucks in my hand), snorkeling, boogie boarding, kayaking and catching some rays during the summer (while enjoying a good book).  I also enjoy playing golf, hiking, riding my bike, working out at the gym, and playing my guitar.

I love teaching and what it brings to my life. I feel very fortunate to be working with the children here at Lindo Park, along with the highly awesome and supportive staff.
