Welcome! My name is Kerry Strong and I teach third grade. I have been teaching at Lindo Park School for 5 1/2 years. I have worked with many grades and I am excited to be back with 3rd grade. I received my BA and my teaching credential from San Diego State University. I also have a strong background in Montessori education. I have lived in San Diego all my life, but I love to travel! Ireland is my favorite country to visit, San Francisco is my favorite city to visit in California, and Disneyland is my favorite quick weekend trip. I enjoy going to the movies, the zoo, the beach, and to the theatre. I enjoy musical theatre and all its elements such as singing, dancing, and acting. I was involved in a musical theater company in San Diego for many years. I've done everything from working on the lighting and backstage crew, to performing, directing, and teaching drama and dance. I feel that the Arts are SO important to bring to children. I regularly incorporate all aspects of the Arts into my teaching. When your children attend Lindo Park your whole family becomes a part of ours here at school. I feel so lucky that I get to work with the students, parents, and staff at Lindo Park!
