Welcome to the Lemon Crest Elementary School Website. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and share my excitement about my appointment as the principal at Lemon Crest Elementary School. Lemon Crest has a long standing reputation for academic excellence and I feel fortunate to be joining a school culture focused on student learning, a commitment to high expectations, innovation and collaboration. It is my intent to continue to carry out these important traditions and practices. I would like to share some information about my educational background and professional experience. I began my teaching career as an instructional health care assistant working with high school students with severe disabilities. Upon receiving my teaching credential, I spent the next eight years teaching in a special day class for students with mild/moderate disabilities. I have also served as a resource specialist, behavioral specialist, and special education coordinator. For the past four years, I have been the principal of the East County Academy of Learning. I look forward to meeting with you and forging a relationship focused on providing all students with a caring and safe environment with an emphasis on student achievement.
