
On September 30, 2011, Governor Schwarzenegger signed the Senate Bill (SB) 1381, the Kindergarten Readiness Act, This law changes the age a student must be to enroll in kindergarten and is being implemented incrementally by school year as follows:
2013--2014: Children must be five years on or before October, 1, 2013
Step 1. You will need a current version of Adobe Reader to fill in and print the enrollment forms from this site. You may download the current version of Adobe Reader at http://www.adobe.com
Step 2. Please be sure to bring ONE of following ORIGINAL documents with you when enrolling your student:
Original Birth Certificate or Current Passport or a Baptismal Certificate
Step 3. Bring all Immunization records for your student. All children are required to have their vaccinations fully complete BEFORE enrolling in school, unless exempt as provided by law. View the current Immunization documents here: http://www.sdiz.org/
Step 4.

Step 5. To complete the enrollment process, return all REQUIRED forms to your child's school during assigned enrollment time and dates.
PLEASE NOTE: The enrollment process is not complete and your child will not be assigned to a classroom, until you provide the school with all REQUIRED forms listed in the table below and all required documents listed in Step 2 and 3.
