Lakeside Union School District provides instrumental music lessons for interested 5th grade students as part of the regular school day. Riverview's program is taught by Lakeside Middle School music teacher, Jason Justeson. There are two optional pull-out classes - one for flute, clarinet, trombone, or trumpet and one for violin. For the 2011-2012 school year, the classes will be held on Thursdays. There are a limited number of instruments to borrow on a lottery basis.
