Hip Hop Dance classes have been offered to students from K-5 for the last 3 years.Teaching artists from Evoke Dance Theatre teach the classes.The classes are designed to provide lively and fun dance experiences at no cost to the children.The funding has been provided by Run for the Arts, The Stadium Association, the Optimist Club of Lakeside, our Lemon Crest PTA and individual donors.The classes have been extremely popular with many students applying.The groups are kept to fewer than 30 to make sure the children are safe and have a positive experience.After a series of 7-10 classes, the children have created a dance that they perform in front of an audience at school.
