Welcome to Child Nutrition Services
Hello, you are at the Child Nutrition Link of the Lakeside Union School District. Here you will find current menus for our schools. We provide nutritious breakfast and lunch for our students in Lakeside. As this site progresses and grows, we will add all kinds of fun stuff from other sites for your students to read and enjoy. A link to the "5 a day" fruits and vegetables site, and many state & national sites, will be set up for your use.
Our goal is to provide healthy and nutritious meals at a reasonable price. Our department is a self-supporting program and does not receive funding from any part of the general fund. We generate all funds to pay for food, labor and any other costs associated with this program. We are strictly regulated and reviewed by the United States Department of Agriculture and the California Department of Education.
