Hello, my name is Andy Ceccarelli. I am teaching fourth grade this year and have been at Lemon Crest School for 6 years. I have been teaching in Lakeside for 15 years and I’m very happy here. I have taught 4th grade, 5th grade, and 4th and 5th grade combination classes my entire career. I live near Balboa Park, so the commute is opposite traffic, which is great!
I have been married for 30 years and have a wonderful wife and daughter. During our summer vacations, we love to go up to Fallen Leaf Lake, which is near Lake Tahoe, in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Both of our families are in northern California, so it is fun to spend time with them for a few weeks every summer.
I enjoy golf, reading, traveling, cooking, and golf. I will be giving the fourth graders some golf lessons in the spring. I have enough clubs and balls for every one. They enjoy it and they will have some basic knowledge about golf and be able to work on their skills.
One of my favorite subjects to teach is geography. I spent four years in the Navy as a navigator and enjoyed seeing the world. I like sharing the world with my students.
I am also the Head Teacher, which means that when Mr. Skeels is not on campus, I am in charge! Sort of like in the parking lot! I do want to thank all of the parents and caregivers who use the parking lot, for their patience in the mornings and after school.
