Mrs. Godley has been a resident of Lakeside since 1973. She is married and the mother of three graduates of LUSD schools and grandmother of three Lakeside students. Mrs. Godley served in PTA for over 20 years as President of two schools, council President, was on the State PTA Board of Managers on the Finance and Leadership Commissions and is a founding member of the local Children's Hospital Auxiliary unit and chairman for three years. As a district representative on the East County Transitions Committee, she meets with representatives of all East County school districts to discuss issues regarding articulation with the high school district and cooperation on shared concerns. She has also completed both the Master of Boardsmanship and Master of Governance programs through the California School Boards Association. Mrs. Godley was recently elected to serve on the CSBA Delegate Assembly. She will serve as a communications link between board members in the region and the regional director. Mrs. Godley is a bookkeeper and a notary and she volunteers for her church.
