Welcome to the Lakeside Union District Special Education website
Dr. Natalie Winspear-Special Education Director

Lakeside provides a continuum of special education programs and support services for students with exceptional needs, birth through Grade 8. Special educators, school psychologists, speech pathologists, the school nurse, administrators and parents all play an important role in making the most appropriate educational decisions for each student. Our goal is to support success for each and every student and to partner with parents in order to provide a quality educational program for all. Students who qualify for special education are provided an Individualized Education Program (IEP). If you feel that your child is in need of special education services, please contact your child's teacher or the Special Education Department.
